India Network of Professional Social Workers’ Associations ( INPSWA ) which is affiliated to IFSW, has come together with two of the premier institutes of Bengaluru,namely National Institute of Mental Health And Neuro Sciences ( NIMHANS ) and CHRIST ( Deemed to be University ), both of which are members of APASWE, in organising this conference with their Psychiatric Social Work /Social Work departments respectively.The main Conference will be held from 18th to 20th September 2019 preceded by Pre-conference seminar on 17th September 2019.

The APSWC – 2019 theme ` Social Work Partnerships towards an Equal Society – Asia Pacific Perspective’ and the Pre - Conference seminar theme ` Indigenous Social Work ’ are very much topical for social work professionals of the day, who continuously engage themselves to effect change at every stage of human well - being, fromgrassroots movements to sustainable community livelihoods models. We expect around 800 to 1000 delegates from Asia Pacific region,who will enrich and enhance everyone’s knowledge and learning through seminar, plenary sessions,oral paper presentations, poster display and exhibitions. We are working on arranging field visits to some of the agencies which have empowered the communitywith innovative and meaningful social interventions.
